My hobby smells better then yours
I haven't been feeling well, but I got a couple shipments in today that inspired me to get up and create! (side note: I love when people ship to me right away! It is awesome; I ordered supplies from Snowdrift day before yesterday, and it arrived today! Couldn't get any better service then that!)
I've been itching to try some different scrub formulas, and after receiving a fantastic one a few weeks ago (thanks, Joanna!) I just couldn't shake the bug. After some trial and error (always a part of creating!) and reformulating, I came up with two very different scrubs that I'm happy with.
One is a lathering, cleansing sugar scrub made with my soap bevels. I was happy to find a use for them; one can only have so many 'confetti' soaps! This first scrub is quite thick and utilitarian; scrubs, cleans, and leaves behind a tich of lovely oils and glycerine. It is a wonderful foot scrub!
The second scrub used an entirely different technique and ingredients (can't spill too much, but I'm sure you will have already guessed it has some shea butter mixed in, along with 5 other oils
and butters....ahhhhh, richness). I whipped the daylights out of it to create a light, airy and delicate exfoliating treatment. I used one of my favorite fragrances, 'Pink Sugar Wafer' and added some pink jojoba beads and sugar for the scrub. It needs a bit of tweaking in the percentages, I think, but otherwise I am very happy with it. It smells so wonderful, feels great, and looks so pretty!
So, the jury is out for both scrubs....I'll let you now when the winner formula is up and running on my site. :)

you are amazing. you totally inspire me. I feel like a disgrace compared to all that you accomplish daily. Seriously.. were you put here to make us all feel totally inferior?

I didn't know where to post a *rave* review of your shea products, so I chose this spot.
I was a little cautious about the whole shea concept; that is, I didn't know if it would *really* be as good as all that. It is actually *better* than all that! I have used the whipped shea several times in the last 10 days and each time after the initial application I can still feel the wonderful effects: whipped shea is not *at all* "greasy" feeling, but 24 hours later I can still see shower water bead on the skin that has had shea. For the first time since I left North Carolina 6 1/2 years ago, my skin does not feel dry, shrunken, and thirsty. I am prone to be allergic to random chemically smells; the whipped shea fragrances are light and wonderful and have caused no problems. Thank you for creating such an outstanding product.
