Market report
Apparently, Arizona doesn't believe that it's fall. For whatever reason, all over the country, people are wearing sweaters now but not us. In other words; IT WAS HOT to be doing an outdoor show!
Despite the 102* heat, there was a good crowd and plenty of traffic. Best sellers today were: M-81 (no surprise there!), 1616, Oatmeal Milk and Honey, Soothe and Turkish Mocha. We did well, and made boothX5 (which means 5 times more then we paid to be there). I was happy with this, especially considering that the girls on either side of me had much less luck; one made $15 over her booth fee, and the other didn't sell a thing all day. She was shocked, and said it had never happened to her before. I guess that's just the economy these days, though.....that and the unfortunate luck of being next to the killer tvala Handmade soaps. ;)
As is always the case, I poked around and got a couple things from the other vendors. But, I was very good; none of it was for me! Instead it was for upcoming birthday gifts. I found things that were perfect for 2 of my sisters.
So, I passed out from heat exhaustion, drank a gallon of water, took a shower and am now getting ready to order supplies to make a few specific soaps for the next show we are doing in October. That one will be truly awesome, I think!

What an awesome turn out! I'm glad you did well and I'm not surprised at all at your best sellers. Those are some of my favorites!

I am so sorry. I live in South Florida and it is over 90 every day still. I am ready for a bit of cool (80 at least)!
Glad you were able to cool off finally. :)
